Mobile Shelving
Cave Tab mobile shelving systems offer extremely high density of storage as a much higher proportion of 'footprint' is allocated to storage and less to aisle space than is the case with static systems. Mobile shelving is available in 'basic trim' versions for archive stores, or with high quality 'designer' finished panels for front office use.
Types of Drive
Cave Tab mobile systems are available with three drive systems:
Manual
This is the traditional way of moving mobile shelving and uses handwheels located at the operator end of each mobile bay. The user turns the highly geared wheel, so minimum effort is required, even to move several units at once.
Electrical (basic)
Units move silently and effortlessly at the touch of a button. Several units can be moved at once, each mobile base has its own electric motor.
Electrical (advanced)
These units accept programmed codes to keep certain bays closed together, moving as one, in order to prevent unauthorised access to files. These systems can be linked to FileTrail and FileTrail RFID software to provide the ultimate in file storage and control.
Installation
Office systems are all surface mounted enabling easy relocation and the electrical system simply requires a normal 13 amp plug socket.
Larger systems, even double-decked installations with mezzanine floors are available for large scale requirements.
Sizes
Cave Tab mobile systems are available in virtually any size of shelf depth and width to meet all storage requirements.
