In many ways, the Public Sector has been at the forefront of the movement towards electronic records and records management. The drivers for this are often the more rigorous procedural accountability required when accountable to the public, where only the best record keeping will do. Because of this need, Cave Tab has a long history of doing business with the Public Sector, both by providing paper filing services and more recently managing the transition to electronic documents and outsourced daily post scanning (Electronic Post Room).

Some of Cave Tab’s Public Sector projects are very large, and we are used to working as sub-contractors to large ICT service providers such as Civica (www.civica.co.uk), IDOX (www.idoxplc.co.uk), BT (www.bt.com) and CACI (www.caci.co.uk).

Our Customers often find this a simple way of reducing the procurement work and approvals needed to initiate a major project. We are also accredited to ‘Gold’ standard for the provision of scanning services by Exor (www.exorgroup.co.uk). 

Our policies and standards are as to be expected for a contractor working in the Public Sector; we are also quality assured to ISO 9001, and adhere to PD00008 standards for scanning and records management.
